Techvision Furniture takes pride in its contribution to the success of the Libo 1987 renovation project, located on Yimei Road, Minhang District, Shanghai. This massive 300,000 square meters industry-city integration complex underwent a transformative renovation, with the East Tower embracing the international office concept of “Enjoy Work, Enjoy Life.” Techvision Furniture played a crucial role in shaping the innovative business environment of Shanghai with its impeccable furniture products.

A Tranquil Oasis Amidst Urban Buzz – Indoor Landscaping

In the face of limited space in Shanghai, Techvision Furniture’s design team ingeniously conceptualized large-scale “indoor landscaping” for the nearly 1,000-square-meter lobby of the East Tower. The challenge was to create a serene atmosphere that complements the modern business environment.

Techvision Furniture’s approach involved designating almost half of the lobby as leisure space, introducing natural elements like mountains and rivers. This not only added a touch of tranquility but also aligned with the “Lohas Business” philosophy. The lobby, crafted as a piece of abstract landscape painting, featured a minimalist design with natural stone, creating a blank canvas for a peaceful environment.

The indoor landscaping adhered to the laws of nature, placing mountains on the west side and a 123-square-meter indoor pool on the east side. The integration of “water, wood, and sky” enriched the vertical hierarchy, dispelling any sense of emptiness. The result was a garden-like atmosphere, offering a retreat for the urban soul amidst the bustling city.

This multifunctional space seamlessly combined “business exhibitions, salon lectures, and coffee leisure,” providing a versatile environment for art, public communication, and solitude. It became a haven where the busy urban soul could find respite and escape momentarily from the demands of life.

A Journey Through Sky – Moving Narrative

Techvision Furniture’s impact extended beyond the lobby into the narrative design planned by the YuQiang & Partners team. The migratory circulation lines around the core tube formed a captivating spatial narrative chain, creating a journey through different spatial forms.

The progression from “Set sail – lighthouse guidance – ride the wind and waves – canyon exploration – fully loaded arrival – paradise – return home” exemplifies the thoughtful design. Techvision Furniture’s involvement was crucial in areas like the open space, negotiation areas, and full-floor model rooms.

The semi-open conference room, designed by Techvision Furniture, added a fascinating dimension to the journey by creating a canyon-like experience. The transition from “open sailing” to a more private realm showcased the flexibility and seamless integration between office and life.

In the private office area, Techvision Furniture’s contribution extended to the reception room and conference room, emphasizing the modern and elegant Shanghai-style ambiance. The dark and bold colors, combined with greenery, conveyed a sense of personality and confidence, adding a touch of sophistication to the entire space.

The essence of the “Enjoy Work, Enjoy Life” concept, rooted in London’s Chiswick Park, was brought to life through Techvision Furniture’s dedication to creating a humane and diverse office space. The integration of work and life, with a focus on the “Lohas” experience, reflects Techvision Furniture’s commitment to enhancing the intrinsic value of the workspace.

In conclusion, Techvision Furniture’s involvement in the Libo 1987 renovation project showcases its ability to provide perfect furniture solutions that harmonize with the innovative and modern business environments it contributes to.
